Practical initiatives to digitize services, improve the resident experience, and connect operations to technical solutions.

Digital soft-services platform for Faculty Members Housing

In operation
Problem
Faculty Members Housing is a large occupied residential environment where soft services — cleaning in particular — strongly shape daily resident experience. Requests came through scattered channels, were assigned manually, and closed without a documented record, so quality was judged rather than measured.
Concept
A digital system covering the full service cycle for residents: submit a request, identify the building and unit, choose a time, schedule and assign the task, execute in the field, update status, and close with visual verification — with tracking and follow-up throughout.
My role
Defined the concept and operating model, designed the service cycle, and led development.
Operational value
Easier requests for residents, clearer service categorization, status visibility, better coordination with service teams, and measurable follow-up within Faculty Members Housing.

QR service gateway — linking the location to the digital request

Operational concept
Problem
Within Faculty Members Housing facilities, service requests passed through separate channels and residents struggled to pinpoint their exact location, wasting steps identifying the building and unit before the request reached the right team.
Concept
A fixed QR code at each location or facility. A resident scans it and reaches the service directly; the request is created linked to their location automatically, then routed to the relevant service channel with follow-up.
My role
Designed the operating concept linking the physical location to the digital request.
Operational value
Fewer steps between resident and service, accurate location capture, and improved accessibility and reporting.
